Meet James!
James and his sister Princess Nala’s journey began on a roadside in Puerto Rico where they were found with their mother.. When a kind rescuer found James, part of his paw was already gone, and he was in desperate need of help. At just 4 weeks old, James underwent surgery to amputate his leg.. Thanks to the care and love of his rescuers, James has made an incredible recovery!  

Now 5 months old and weighing 19 lbs, James is happy, healthy, and ready to start a new chapter. Despite losing a leg, he’s a playful and resilient pup with a big heart. James would love a family who will shower him with love and help him continue to thrive as the special boy he is.  

James is flying to Virginia alongside his sister, Princess Nala, to find their forever homes.
